Vienna is the capital city of Austria and has been founded by the Romans more than 2000 years ago. It contains numerous historic sites and buildings but modern architecture sets various counterpoints. Vienna is famous for its culture. Theatres and operas perform on a world class level and museums exhibit an extraordinary broad spectrum of arts. Vienna is centred in the heart of Europe and the capital cities Prague, Bratislava and Budapest are within a visiting distance. Most beautiful, the city extends along the Vienna Woods and the river Danube. Vienna can easily be reached by plane, train, bus or private car. A rich variety of hotels at all categories is available. Public traffic in Vienna is well developed, allowing comfortable travelling within the city boundaries.

The workshop will be held in the lecture hall EI 5 Hochenegg of the TU Wien. The hall is located on the second floor of the Gußhausstraße 25 building, in the very centre of Vienna and can be accessed via the stairs VIII. The projector has an aspect ratio of 16:10 and an HDMI connection. There is also an adapter for VGA and USB ports.
