Sarah Reisenbauer

In her research project Sarah is currently assembling an experimental apparatus designed to optically address a single nitrogen vacancy center under cryogenic conditions in order to investigate the quantum-mechanical properties of the spin and photonic degrees of freedom in the nitrogen-vacancy defect center.

The aim of the thesis is to efficiently create spin-photon entangled states using photon collection micro-optics on the diamond surface.
